Polio Dog
Once upon a time, on a rather long island far away from here, I used to
be in a band called Polio Dog. The history of Polio Dog is a rather
strange one. The band was created as a side project to my band pawnShop
(now known as Vision),
which itself was a side project to the band Broken Tears, featuring myself
and Polio Dog's drummer Bill Volpe. Broken Tears, in turn, formed from
the remnants of Escape, which, when it broke up, included me, Bill, and
Polio Dog's guitarist Mike Gibaldi, who sang for Escape.
Have I lost you yet?
Well, it gets worse. Polio Dog no longer exists. But throughout the
course of its brief life, Polio Dog managed to play a few gigs and record
a demo tape, entitled Three Sheets to the Wind. If you
would like to order your own copy of Sheets, e-mail me. Here is some information
on Sheets, taken from the liner notes.
