If I'm not mistaken, GURPS is a 'Steve Jackson Games' product.  SJG may have
been usurped by GDW for all I know, but I know that SJG owned that name
originally.

I only played Traveller a few times.  I never got into it, as I was more
into Shadowrun.

Ah...it takes me back to the days of yore, rolling 20 sided dice and
listening to Rush at top volume at 3am while your character mowed down orcs
with sub-machine guns...
