Heard in an interview on Delicious Agony that the boys were heading back into the studio after the DVD release instead of heading home to their families for a break. Apparently they haven't had enough yet ;) I'm eagerly awaiting also! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony K" To: "Multiple recipients of list" Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 2004 11:25 PM Subject: now recording... > Hi all, > > I hear (from an excellent source) that the guys are starting/working on a > new CD. > > Can't wait to hear what they are up to this time! > > Tony > > ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2004 16:57:32 -0500 From: email_address_removed To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: shadow Gallery Message-ID: Hey guys, I'm curious....anyone find out any new news on shadow gallery.....they recently were brought up in a discussion at my second job as i surprizingly found out the drummers son works at my store.... he doesnt follow his father's material though....surprising for me ---Andrew ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2004 18:44:46 -0500 From: "Rob P" To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Threshold Message-ID: I love the new disc and it rivals Psychedelicatessen(sp?) as my favorite Threshold CD. I liked Critical Mass but I agree Hypothetical was better. Subsurface is amazing though!!! I think Mac is incredible but Glynn Morgan is one of the best singers I've ever heard. I was never a big fan of Damian Wilson though. >From: Alexandra >Reply-To: ytsejam@torchsong.com >To: Multiple recipients of list >Subject: Re: Threshold >Date: Wed, 10 Nov 2004 07:17:42 -0800 (PST) > > >Weird. According to their site, in May they recorded drums to their newest release. On another related note, the project called Shadrane (www.shadrane.com) looks pretty awesome! From SG's site... "Gary Wehrkamp has completed his contributions to the upcoming heavy progressive-rock project, SHADRANE. The epic concept album will be titled "Neurastasia." Gary will appear on four tracks and recorded his both guitar and synthesizer solos back in February/early March of 2004 at the Ninth Street Studios. Other musicians appearing on the SHADRANE project are: Vivien Lalu (composer/producer/keyboardist), Anders Johansson, Matt Bissonette, Simon Phillips, Virgil Donati, Vitalij Kuprij, Steve Walsh, Joop Walters and Tony Franklin just to name a few of the many guest talents. Currently SHADRANE's "Neurastasia" is looking at a release time frame of early 2005." ----- Original Message ----- From: To: "Multiple recipients of list" Sent: Thursday, November 11, 2004 4:50 PM Subject: shadow Gallery > Hey guys, > I'm curious....anyone find out any new news on shadow gallery.....they recently were brought up in a discussion at my second job as i surprizingly found out the drummers son works at my store.... he doesnt follow his father's material though....surprising for me > > ---Andrew > --Boundary_(ID_MnPT1vI5/4Dn5uSW5ElRJg) ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2004 19:55:42 -0500 From: WB Henderson To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: shadow Gallery Message-ID: >Last I heard was a potential DVD methinks... The whole being in a band but never playing live, thing. Maybe they have stage fright. Maybe they think they can't pull it off in a live setting. Maybe there's no music scene in their area. It baffles me. I thought the whole idea of being in a band was to rehearse, book gigs, play shows, put out music, rinse, repeat. Dali's Dilemma is another example. Have they ever played a show? Not as far as I know. How about Zero Hour? Seems like they've only ever played two shows: Progpower 2003, and as a last-minute fill-in opener for Symphony X in San Francisco two years ago. I see those guys attending shows all the time, but I never hear about them PLAYING shows. Maybe there's a new approach to being in a band that I'm not familiar with. The band I play in has gigs a couple times a month, all around the San Francisco Bay Area. It might be old fashioned, but it sure is fun. Can we name any other bands who are purely "studio bands"? Seems like Symphony X was falling into that category until around 1998. -Rick On Thu, 11 Nov 2004, Mike Shetzer wrote: > I could very well be confusing it with another band, which I think I am... > > I wonder why they don't play live? > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "WB Henderson" > To: "Multiple recipients of list" > Sent: Thursday, November 11, 2004 7:54 PM > Subject: Re: shadow Gallery > > > > >Last I heard was a potential DVD methinks... > > > > Really?
