Message-ID: Anyone into progressive rock/metal may be interested that I am relenquishing myself of the following CD's to make room for the new stuff (and to finance my next CD?) Feel free to email me if interested. The going rate via, well, me, is $5 give or take $20 (just kidding). I'll be serving them up to the eBay masses soon, but I figured the prog heads here and there might be interested. Sorry no frog prog or chromium iguana's at this time. The Quiet Room - Introspect Divine Regale - Ocean Mind Spiral Architect - A Skeptics Universe and of course, any F5 and Scott Mosher CD's. Peace out, y'all. What are their respective dillies? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dr. Scott Mosher" To: "Multiple recipients of list" Sent: Monday, October 04, 2004 10:15 PM Subject: The last of the Prog Metal/Rock CD's for grabs. > Anyone into progressive rock/metal may be interested that I am > relenquishing myself of the following CD's to make room for the new > stuff (and to finance my next CD?) Message-ID: <20041005114050.GA24877@zero> Well, it's been almost 13 years since that catalyst album, Images and Words propelled DT into the spotlight of the progmetal universe. I remember it, it was a warm summer evening in 1992... I had heard WDADU once upon a time but didn't give this band much credit due to it's weak production. Around FW circles people started to chatter about this album... Images and Words. FW's Parallel's had been released a year earlier and in the liner, thanks was given to Dream Theater... so I was just browsing around good ole Tower Records (one of the original ones in Anaheim, CA) when I stumbled upon I&W, so I figured what the heck, might as well pick it up... boy was I in for a surprise!! I&W turned my music ear on it's side, every song being an instant classic in the metal/progmetal universe. Pull Me Under, Another Day, TTT, Surrounded, the legendary Metropolis Part I, Learning To Live... Looking back to that monumental album that lead to the album that catapulted DT to international acclaim, Awake, and the legacy of Kevin Moore... makes me wonder... can I&W ever be topped for impact and innovation... -The Doc -- -------------- http://www.zeromemory.com - metal for your ears. ------------------------------ End of YTSEJAM Digest 6989 ************************** === Contributions to ytsejam: ytsejam@torchsong.com === === Send requests to: ytsejam-request@torchsong.com === === More information at: http://www.dreamt.org/local/ytsejam.php === === Brought by the ghost of ytsejam@arastar.coms past === === Reach the owner of this list at: ytsejam-owner@torchsong.com ===
