I'll be buggered! Good eye. I was just looking at the "Releases" grid on the main page. A release date, that's damn good news. :) Hope it happens... ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 09:55:08 -0500 From: "Matt Rose" To: Subject: DT Lossless hub Message-ID: <002a01c49bfd$2d45d940$0200a8c0@computer> While I think that the idea of a DT lossless hub is a great idea, all you really need to do is join this Rush hub that I belong to. You have to have some Rush (or download some right away) to stay on the hub, but most of the people there have DT and tons of it, all lossless. If you join, just be aware that NO MP3s are allowed and NO commercial material either. Otherwise, you'll be able to get just about ANY DT that you want and tons of other bands as well. The address for the hub is server.tldsystems.com. It requires registration and a password to log on to it. You can register for it at http://rush.daneck.com/hubreg/ Follow the rules on there and you'll have a great time downloading to your heart's content. TONS of DT. We kinda joke on there that it's become the unofficial DT hub. Lots of other prog music as well. Enjoy! ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 12:13:04 -0300 From: "Krusty" To: Subject: Re: DT Lossless hub Message-ID: <006601c49bff$abc6e140$66abfea9@GABRIEL> Hey, Matt, Thanks for the tip, but I'm already a member of that hub =) And what's your nickname over there? ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 20:55:40 -0400 From: Mike Shetzer To: Ytsejam Subject: MP dvds Message-ID: <003101c49c51$0d817b10$9b00a8c0@mizz> --Boundary_(ID_o1oovlbX7y0LLDt9rA2BhA) Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT I just got through watching the Drums of Thought DVD and the 6DoIT drumming DVD (whose name eludes me) which were lent to me by a friend. Anyone else own these? DoT is entertaining, good sound, good camera angles, complete songs. Wouldn't say I'd be willing to pay for it though... although I am not a drummer anyway. The other one, however, was much worse... bad camera shots, incomplete songs (some of them stop at the best parts!), and low quality hiss-like sound. I understand the 6DoIT DVD was probably recorded on a whim, probably with a low quality camera, but still... I don't see the point of the DVD if he isn't even playing the album's drum tracks, he's like rehearsing or writing. He also makes some timing errors and is not even 50% as tight a drummer as he is on the album, or on the DoT DVD. Good thing I didn't buy this one... On a lighter note, I'm looking forward to the Budokan DVD! --Boundary_(ID_o1oovlbX7y0LLDt9rA2BhA) ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ End of YTSEJAM Digest 6976 ************************** === Contributions to ytsejam: ytsejam@torchsong.com === === Send requests to: ytsejam-request@torchsong.com === === More information at: http://www.dreamt.org/local/ytsejam.php === === Brought by the ghost of ytsejam@arastar.coms past === === Reach the owner of this list at: ytsejam-owner@torchsong.com ===
