There hasn't been a list cleansing in years. Perhaps we should require a re-subscription in order to filter out the spammers. I'm not sure how much of a pain that would be, but it might be a good idea. Or you could install spamassassin on the list server machine to nail the spam messages before they get sent out to the list, but that would require some administrative privilages on the server and I don't know if we have that. Well, it's an intrumental rock CD, I wrote, recorded and engineered the whole thing by myself. I started playing back in 1980, eventually wound up in Los Angeles by 1990, trying to make it. But grunge hit, and aside from a little recognition, we never got far. Around 1993, I gave up the band thing, and really quit playing pretty much until around 1998/1999, when the home recording revolution started. I had always felt like I wanted something to show for all the years of practice, not just band demo tapes. Something I could hand to people and say "Here, this is me." So thru all sorts of delays (getting married, having kids, health issues, normal day job, etc) I finally made it. And people really like it. I have more samples up at www.arfnbear.com. Please check them out! To Charlie Korch - I got out my decoder ring for your post ;) Thanks! I'm in the LA area. The drums are samples - The Drumkit From Hell. I think they sound awesome too. I use SONAR to record, and A DXi plugin called DR-008 from fxpansion play the samples. Feel free to contact me if you want more details. Thanks for listening!
