They don't really touch the Rabin-years material these days (like "Talk"), aside from maybe some of the more popular "90125" singles. Subject: O/T a second: New music posted. Message-ID: Off topic a second, but in case anyone is interested in some new tuneage, I have posted the entire song, "Inferno", from my similarly titled 3rd CD, INFERNO. It's a rawkin' little 3.5 minute tune that should get your blood boiling, your heads turning, your booty shaking (well, not really, but hey, it could!) and hopefully your feet tap dancing. Feel free to play it for your entire extended family and their attendant pets, just keep the moshing to a minimum. Thanks for your time and attendance. http://www.theambientmind.com/inferno/sounds/inferno_full.mp3 Your friendly neighborhood allroundniceguy Scott Mosher | http://www.theambientmind.com/inferno Inferno at CD Baby: http://www.cdbaby.com/all/scottmosher ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Aug 2004 10:24:37 -0400 From: "Rob P" To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Nektar/Caravan tour Message-ID: I just secured second row for the Nektar/Caravan show at the Egg here in Albany. I highly recommend everyone check this show out as it should be amazing. So all you progheads get out there and get tickets!!! Heck, even you metalheads get some! If I have left out anyone, you folks go too. Nektar is one of my favorite prog bands and for those not familiar, I really think people on here would be into them. Let's face it they have plenty of music to pull from. The 80s albums have been largely forgotten by Yes since 1998 or so. Your best bet would be to pick up anything from the Yes album, fragile, and time and a word. There may be something from relayer, or their newer album, magnification. With Wakeman in the band, they are apparently ignoring anything he didn't play on, which is a shame. Is that accurate for stuff >they might play? > Probably not, though they might play Awaken or the title song from GftO. They're much more likely to play stuff from Fragile, The Yes Album, Close to the Edge, and 90125. And probably a couple newer songs off the last couple albums. The "Classic Yes" CD will cover many of the songs from the first 3 albums I mentioned. It's worth getting in any case. Enjoy!
