I hate it when people do that. So they screwed up. Big f'in deal. That's part of what makes live music fun. I thought one of the more memorable moments of the evening was when Petrucci dumped his music all over the floor. -Dan. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Aug 2004 19:27:40 -0400 From: Mike Shetzer To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Evening Message-ID: <000a01c479b1$78450ce0$9b00a8c0@mizz> --Boundary_(ID_U/C7KqXnm6+ARwEjNGyRbg) Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Good call! If anything, they make the show feel more... real. I am just pointing out that they seem to use computers to correct as many mistakes as possible on the official releases of the show! - Edu ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Aug 2004 22:52:26 -0400 From: WB Henderson To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Evening Message-ID: Dan Costello wrote: >I hate it when people do that. IMO, mistakes must be kept in recorded shows only when they're funny. Normal flubs I don't mind being repaired afterward. In the case of grating mistakes, honestly, I'd rather they be fixed pre-release. Gimme the overdubbed KJLB vocals on "Live at the Marquee" over the cracks of "Once in a Livetime" any day. Unrelated - This is probably an easy question answered umteen times elsewhere: what is the source of the samples in "Honor Thy Father"?
