Western Digital is a good company, and 8MB is much faster (thus better) than 2MB. So wither you got a lemon (unlikely) or whoever sold it to you damaged it in shipping. Don't mis-inform people when you > don't know what > you're talking about. As off topic as this is... lemons do happen fairly frequently in the hard drive market. Look at IBM - they've had a few in the last couple of years, while their reliable drives have been quite good. Look at the origins of Western Digital. They used to be the shithouse cheap drives you packed into mum and dad computers while people who knew what they were doing would buy Seagates and Quantums. Things change... ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Jul 2004 20:15:13 -0400 From: "Rob P" To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: New Megadeth Message-ID: Anyone else gotten a hold of the new Megadeth like I did? I was wondering what others thought. I was concerned since I pretty much hated the last album but this one KICKS. It's actually in the Rust In Peace vein (most times when people say they are going back to their roots, they don't!) and I love it! Chris Poland is on it and that's pretty obvious. Vinnie Coliutta(sp?) is an awesome drummer, hard to believe he was a session guy. The album's not supposed to be released until mid-September.
