I know, time for some blatent self promotion!!! For those of you who don't know, I play in a band called Infinity Minus One. We had a couple shows last week, and hopefully will have some more coming up soon. We recently threw together a couple of new songs you can hear at our website http://www.infinityminusone.com I'd love to hear what fellow ytsejammers think of our stuff! Ok, now on the personal side. I started dating a girl a couple weeks ago, and over the weekend I went to her place, and ya know what CD she puts on? Winter Rose! How cool is that? Actually, I'm curious how many ytsejammers there are at this point who don't even know who winter rose is? Here's my input on some of the topics mentioned: > Isn't the new Ayreon double-CD, with James Labrie, > incredibly neeeto and > kewl? :) I've only heard the single for Day Eleven: Love and all of the songs in it sound great. I still haven't gotten the full album because the piece of crap mailing system that deepdiscountcd.com uses has been sufficiently slow to have had me waiting for over 2 weeks with no results. I'm never ordering from them again. I think they use sixth class mail or higher... > (I can't get enough of "Day Three: Pain." James > L., Devon Graves and > Devin Townsend \m/ \m/ ) I'm anxiously awaiting to hear Devin singing (along with James, of course). I'm curious to hear if he pretty much screams all the time or if he uses his clean voice as well (which I hope he does). > As for the Tim Donahue. Very disappointed. Not the > great - I kind of surprised James did it...I just > feel > it's weak. Couple decent songs - but nothing > memoral. After only a few listens I would have agreed with you. But it's gotten a lot better with repeated listening. I mean, it doesn't even come close to the glory that Frameshift is, but it's a good album nonetheless. Donahue's album is just darker and less catchy. Alexis, anxiously awaiting for the human equation to be solved...... __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
