He just played the circus part that's in the end of WtWB as the keyboard fill in ACoS. --original message-- I'm pretty sure I noticed that, but it has been at least 2 years since I saw the DVD, which part did they play? ----- Original Message ----- From: email_address_removed To: Multiple recipients of list Sent: Friday, May 21, 2004 3:43 AM Subject: Re: WtWB Live It has so been played live, Jordan played part of it in ACoS on the M2k DVD ;) -Dave Schott (AdmiralDave) email_address_removed http://www.bangarangband.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 22 May 2004 08:47:03 -0700 (PDT) From: Alexis Ramos To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: new ET Message-ID: I agree Mike. The new ET is very good, with excellent vocals, musicianship, composition and melodies. As always, they have a very classic DT sound (especially the drummer, who I think is a Portnoy clone), but they don't sound like a cheap attempt at copying DT. The only thing I have a slight problem with, once again as with anything having to do with Daniele Liverani, are the lyrics of some songs (although the problem here is not nearly as bad as the first Genius album (haven't heard the second one yet)). I didn't have any problems with their first vocalist, but I definitely like Oliver Hartmann better. By the way, Ark's ex-vocalist was Jorn Lande. Tore was the guitarist. I don't hear much of a similarity between Jorn and Oliver, but they're both great. The one I do think Oliver sounds similar to is Thomas Retke (Heaven's Gate), who I think sounds amazing in the Aina album. Another thing. Not long ago I discovered the site www.live365.com, which is a great place to listen to music on the internet. They have all kinds of stations, so you'll certainly be able to find something you like. I especially love the station called Progged Radio, as it makes me feel like I'm listening to my cd collection, in addition to letting me listen to quite a few bands that I've heard of but never actually heard. Check it out. One last thing. I would really like to go to ProgPower USA this year, but the tickets sold out very quickly and I got left out. If anybody has 2 extra tickets that they're not going to need, please contact me via private email because it would be very disappointing for me if I miss this event. Thank you very much to anybody who's able to help. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! A few times in concert is fun, but now it's obvious he'll do it. And then, in the middle of Endless Sacrifice??? He needs a serious cream pie in the face.
