If you've ever seen the movie Gallipoli, he did that soundtrack. There's a concert of his called Rendezvous Houston, dedicated to a friend of his that died on board the Challenger shuttle. The whole downtown area of Houston was used as a backdrop to this concert for a light, laser and pyrotechnics show. Amazing stuff. He was really big in the late 70's/80s. His father Maurice has done the soundtracks to countless movies. The one that comes to mind is Mosquito Coast with Harrison Ford. Gee I haven't listened to him in ages. Definitely an aquired taste. I was referring to the nasssty weather we had around here precious, incredibly disgustingly hot & muggy. Colder now. Also a stressful front moving in.
