apparently he's got something going with a couple of
the guys from Primus now, might be interesting if that
ever results in a album....

i saw the guy play a couple of weeks ago, just an
opening set, but man, was he mesmerizing to
watch.....the discs don't match the live presentation
(and it is a presentation, in every sense of the
word).....

got a recording of his set from the next night after I
saw him....the music is there, and I can, in my mind's
eye, pick out the places where he's doing crazy stuff
all one handed, when he's probably handing out toys,
or doing the robot up on stage (he's got a song that's
a tribute to Johnny Sokko and his flying robot, an old
japanese tv show i used to watch as a kid.....brought
back memories, lemme tell ya   :)

but it's not quite the same as having the visual
presence of this giant of a man, with the michael
myers halloween mask robbing the viewer of any inkling
of what the guy must be thinking/feeling, etc....it
was an experience for sure....

hmmm. primus are touring this summer -- wonder if buckethead will be
along ??

Tim Alexander is currently playing drums with Primus. Brain, formerly with
Primus (and Praxis w/ Buckethead), is currently playing drums with
Buckethead's Giant Robot.
