They still kick points after and feild goals and the guy is still a retard. morons jump onto the feild to get fowl balls in baseball. same deal, they're still stupid and the games are still played. this is just another case of everyone getting penalized because of some dumb ass. just my opinion. jacko ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Mar 2004 14:22:04 -0800 (PST) From: Adam Perkowsky To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: misc Message-ID: Hey everyone, --- email_address_removed wrote: > seriously, a fan at a chicago bears game jumped off a balcony to catch a football that was kicked. If someone gets hurt at a football game, a lawsuit wouldn't harm the Bears or most teams. If someone gets hurt at a DT concert and the band is held liable, that could be the end of DT. And like I said in my previous post: It's just a stupid drumstick. "it wasn't my fault. the fries may have been too big." any way, just my rant. jacko ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 27 Mar 2004 07:50:17 -0600 From: Michael & Pamela Nazer To: Subject: Re: misc Message-ID: on 3/27/04 7:09 AM, email_address_removed at email_address_removed wrote: > yes, it's a stupid drum stick and i agree. my point is that in todays world > normal people are being penalized for morons who do stupid things, get hurt, > and then deny any responsibility for their actions. > who doesn't know coffee might burn your crotch, eating supersized fast food > meals every day might make you a fat ass, or that leaning beyond your reach > for a stupid drum stick might cause you to lose your balance and fall. > just once i'd like an idiot to stand up and say " i got hurt because i'm a > stupid idiot and it's my fault" instead of suing because there aren't enough > idiot proofing devices installed to prevent them from acting out darwins plan. > maybe i'm a little touchy about this. i admit it, but any one else out there > related to some moron who actually tried to sue mcdonalds because they bit > their cheek and lip while eating fries? It is very possible that in all the excitment he got pushed from behind. I have read on the MP forum that those railings were very low, below the knee. I was at the Minneapolis show 2 weeks ago and caught a stick, and someone else caught it too and I was trying very hard to pull the stick away from the other person, until I looked and saw I was fighting over the stick with my husband......weird things can happen!
