"Another INFINITE-ly entertaining show--OPETH, and a rare acoustic set
from PORCUPINE TREE.Should be a classic!"

To anyone that has seen Porcupine Tree lately-Have any of the shows been
acoustic?
Has any one heard that this one will be?

Directly from G.Kieffer of the PT Street Team:

"The PT show WILL be a full on electric set, complete with stage show in all it's glory and splendor...
The mistake in that Ticketswest.com advert was that they are mistakenly attributing this "acoustic set" description to PT as opposed to the intended target: Opeth's set (which BTW will not be entirely acoustic either...) "

First of all: News about the album: Mike has said that as soon as they're done touring, they'll go back into the studio to record vocals. I knew that they weren't done recording, but this is a little more concrete in terms of what stage they're in. As to NDV: Yes, this is indeed Nick D'Virgilio playing for Fates, and man, did he ever smoke it. That guy is just incredible. That's the only fill-in I can offer. Glad Queensryche DIDN'T play Silent Lucidity.......... What a show..............Geoff Tate impressed me to no end, and then James just OWNED! It was friggin' ridiculous how good they both were. James went for and nailed many notes that he hasn't even attempted in the past. Another Day AND Under A Glass Moon were ALMOST spot on to the original vocally, and that's NEVER been the case(and I've been seeing them live since '92.) Geoff went back in time and found a voice that I didn't think was in his zip code anymore. He was better than great. He was phenomenal(and I've never really been THAT big a fan of his).
