MP just started with his website and the forums were a big hit. So a lot of people suggested that the Jam would become obsolete and that everyone would turn to the forums (resulting in a big discussion about the pros and cons of web forums vs. 'old fashioned' mailing lists, ironically reviving the list at that moment). I have to say that generally and think there's a lot more BS on both the DT and MP forums than there ever was here (and I've been around since 1997) and I concur with Jan-Michael in that when there is some more DT news again, we'll be back on track. Oh BTW now that I think of it: a number of years ago (again) some people were fed up with the amount of BS on the *JAM*, and another, moderated list was created (called Voices I think). Does that one still exist? Nice to see I got a reaction from the Jam, was kinda gettin worried... Concerning the release dates of beards album sorry people I thought it was out in the states on June 3rd... I suppose I'll give you my thoughts on this album before then (on the 1st July for example). I wonder why CD's and DVD's are usually out in Europe first (remember SFNY DVD) ... ? ... Or maybe it's just an impression. And my last note : Andrew how the f**k did you get your hand on that whole Album ? Don't ya think ? As to touring before the new CD arrives -- this is a great tour for both bands.. QR making their comeback, and DT getting some great exposure... Even both bands getting great exposure to each other's audience... It's a win-win. -----Original Message----- From: Mike Shetzer [mailto:email_address_removed Metropolis 3? I didn't think of that. At that point, my musical tastes changed forever. I remember gathering other instrumental guitarist albums such as Tony MacAlpine and that one with the neon shark on the cover... can't remember his name... A friend of mine had the entire Al Dimeola collection that I heard in the background while working on computer stuff... There's greatness in instrumental albums :) Want a Hot Sports Opinion? Yngwie is the best thing to happen to Derek Sherinian's new CD... there ya go :) JM -----Original Message----- From: Dark Sol [mailto:email_address_removed Hello Synthision, Thursday, June 12, 2003, 4:08:33 PM, you wrote: S> Why did you use "BUT" in that sentence? ;-) Because i don't like instrumental albums that much. And that's why i don't dig Ayreon too :))) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2003 14:06:39 -0300 From: Eduardo Ojeda To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Metropolis 3?
