Quintana decided to end his collaboration with the band due to "personal reasons". "The split was on good terms, we wish Oscar nothing but the best in all his future plans" stated singer Leonardo Rivera. At the same time ALL THAT I BLEED welcomes new guitarist Rubin Perez to the ATIB family, "We spent some time looking for the right person to replace Oscar because we wanted not only a capable guitarist but someone who fits in well as a person with the rest of the band and also shared our musical vision, we've known Rubin for some time now and we are looking forward to our collaboration together". The band has begun working on new material for the follow up to the critically acclaimed debut "Dying to Remember", the new album is expected to surface Summer 2004. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 May 2003 09:29:05 +1000 From: "Niall Connaughton" To: Subject: RE: Official bootlegs Message-ID: I personally think it's deplorable! Why has no one complained about the selling of bootlegs? It's disgusting!! MP should be taking trades, and any decent trader will accept 2:1s... MP is clearly just after the money! Niall PS: Joke... joke, it's a joke people :P I have a vision of MP with a basement stacked full of CDRs from 2:1s :P > -----Original Message----- > From: ytsejam@torchsong.com [mailto:ytsejam@torchsong.com]On Behalf Of > Souter, Jan-Michael > Sent: Wednesday, 28 May 2003 12:16 AM > To: Multiple recipients of list > Subject: RE: Official bootlegs > > > It's good to see the band benefit from these bootlegs finally. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 May 2003 20:49:47 EDT From: email_address_removed To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Official bootlegs Message-ID: --part1_16e.1f1b1199.2c0561ab_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" i'm all for a band releasing bootlegs of their own stuff. i'd rather see them get some kind of benefit from their efforts. besides, cheap trick has been doing it for years (only not nearly as cheaply). jacko --part1_16e.1f1b1199.2c0561ab_boundary ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 May 2003 21:46:36 -0400 From: Mike Shetzer To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Official bootlegs Message-ID: <002b01c324ba$f9c4b100$9b00a8c0@mike> While we're on the topic, I dont know if it was mentioned here, but the Flower Kings authorize fan recordings of live shows, sometimes they even encourage it. A few samples are up on their website and they released an official bootleg last year I think.
