Setting one up for the Ytsejam could be fun. That way all members of the Ytsejam DC hub could share files and share the bandwidth load. Has anyone else experimented much with Direct Connect (or the DC++ client)? Any issues with spyware or other problems? Glad you got your copy! JM -----Original Message----- From: Audrey Clark [mailto:email_address_removed Hello, I know that most have gotten a taste of Symphony X with downloads of the song, and I'm sure that some of you might already have their copy of "The Odyssey" (Limited Editon) and I do hope you're enjoying it. I just got my copy of "The Odyssey" (Limited Edition) in the mail today. After a rough week, it was a wonderful thing to find in my mail box. It has some good features, like the following: Search for files only from people that currently have upload slots available Download a list of all the files a person is sharing Download a folder, instead of tagging each individual file Choose where a file is downloaded to (or drop it in the default) Built in IRC-like chat client A ready list of how much each user is sharing. Easy to find leeches. If there's enough interest, and few leaches, I think it would work well. tk -----Original Message----- From: ytsejam@torchsong.com [mailto:ytsejam@torchsong.com] On Behalf Of Steve Chew Sent: Tuesday, November 05, 2002 11:31 AM To: Multiple recipients of list Subject: Re: Direct Connect > >How about a private Ytsejam P2P hub of some sort? I ran my own DC server for a while, but became discouraged because everyone was taking, but nobody was sharing anything other than what they downloaded from me.
