I know 6 degrees was a mediocre release at best, but it's better than FII! What the hell is going on? You guys aren't even talking about Dream Theater! In other news... For those of you who are fans of the band ANGRA, they are appearing at 'L'Amour' in Brooklyn, NY on November 22nd. I saw Symphony X there on the V tour and it's a tiny little place that seem to attract all these big name prog acts. Tickets are available through ticketmaster, although they haven't gone on sale yet. You can check for updates at http://www.lamourrocks.com/ Also, I know the jam is filled with prog snobs (I am one myself) but if there are any other Die Hard GNR fans on here like me, I hope you know there is a tour going on. Yeah yeah....theres no slash but buckethead is nasty and I'm a true believer that slash is more image than talent. I already have my tix for Hartford and NYC. Hartford internet presale runs until Friday morning at 11am. The password for the tix on ticketmaster is 'democracy1'. For those of you who are too good for a rock band like GNR, lets hope Dream Theater puts out another progressive release so the jam gets going again. You guys will hear more from me in the near future...I have A LOT to say about Dream Theater these days and I'll save that for another time. 1.      NTSC, Region 1
2.      PAL, Region 2

The problem is that I have a region 4 player.  As you may appreciate, this is a big problem:  I am living in a Dream Theaterless world (visually that is).

I liked it a lot. My only semi-quasi-sort of-complaint was that Petrucci did more shred than melodic in his solo department. We all know JP can shred, but the main reason he's my (I would say "our" but I don't want to assume) guitar god is because he writes the damn best sounding solos ever heard of! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Calabrese" To: "Multiple recipients of list" Sent: Thursday, October 03, 2002 6:44 PM Subject: THE JAM IS DEAD; GNR/Angra > I've been receiving the jam since high school and now I've graduated college > and I have a job...and I must say, I've never seen the jam as dead as it is > now. That's the way I look at it anyway. If they dont have radio or MTV play, why was the show I saw them at completely sold out and full of people with wide open jaws? =) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Oct 2002 20:46:56 -0400 From: Miguel Farah To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: The new dreamt.org is ...
