I'm curious to see what Mike Portnoy wrote in the liner notes. -- Graham Borland email_address_removed ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Aug 2002 15:40:12 -0700 From: "TREVOR HOIT" To: Subject: prog palace Message-ID: <014e01c23cd1$0fd8e7e0$message_id_removed> charset="Windows-1252" >Subject: The Prog Palace >I was wondering if any of you had heard of the >site/internet radio called the Prog Palace, at an >eponymous website20 http://inetprogramming.com/progrock/javastream/ ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Aug 2002 18:55:26 -0700 (PDT) From: Dave Peterson To: painofsalvation@yahoogroups.com, ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: New Meshuggah! Haven't seen a copy myself yet, but I hear it's kind of a letdown, particularly when considering how long ago "Chaosphere" was released. I'd be happy to learn that those were fluke reviews I read, though, if anybody here has already got a copy and thinks otherwise. Message-ID: I got the priviledge to see Forced Entry play a supposed "one time only" set last Sat, Aug. 3rd. Don't know if anyone out there even knows who they are but about 7-8 years ago they were the heviest, tightest band in Seattle, only to get crushed by that crappy ass Grunge Juggernaught. I tried to rally everyone I could in order to show support but it was a small turnout. The set was part of the Abrasive Rock Fest 2 in Olympia, WA. They were one of many bands to play from noon to midnight Saturday as a kind of showcase for Heavy Metal acts (check out abrasiverock.com). Depressing turnout but some really good sets by some unknown bands. All you closet Seattle-Tacoma metalheads should have been there. Anyone at the Show? Anyone remember Forced Entry20 ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Aug 2002 22:34:02 -0700 From: "Dr. Mosh" To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: New Meshuggah!
