Thank you Dream Theater. Once again, you have topped yourselves. Where you go from here, I have no idea. Oh, that's right...................Japan. And then, after that, BACK TO THE U.S. THIS SUMMER!! I know, it's old news, but it's GOOD news......hehe I'll probably screw up the set list, so I'll let someone else handle that. The sound at the 9:30 Club was EXCELLENT. As soon as they blasted into The Glass Prison, DCJoe turns to me and says "Wow, nice mix!" And it stayed that way all night. Kudos to the sound engineers(though I do still have a SLIGHT ringing in my ears. Probably should have kept the earplugs fully inserted, but the sound was too sweet to muffle....... :) Anyway, I just wanted to be the first(on here, anyway) to say many thanks to the guys for a phenomenal show. WOW!! Kez, suffering from Tourbelence.........................and loving it. P.S. Special thanks to DCJoe and Iman for being cool buds. Let's do it again soon! Oh, and Joe, nice voice.......seriously. I hope I didn't throw you off too badly with my warbling and cracking impersonation of singing..........It was so cool to be next to someone else that sings with all their might during every tune. Jordan played his solo (a.k.a. "pee-break") right before LitS, but, beyond that, the list looks about right. A very cool show. If I had any complaints with the setlist, it'd have to be the inclusion of the entirety of SDOIT. There's parts of that epic that just don't hold my interest. I'd rather have seen 45 minutes of other songs, maybe including some highlights of SDOIT rather than the whole thing -- I assume that's what they'll do next tour. Highlights: Another Hand/The Killing Hand, LSoaD, and Fatal Tragedy. And James was indeed "on" for the most part. My chief complaint lies with the venue employees. They had pairs of people manning the doors as you entered. As I was getting padded down by one, the other asked me for my ticket. My hands were in the friggin' air above my head! I said as much to the girl and she responded with "well, most people have their tickets ready when they get to the door." I didn't bother arguing over the logic of that statement with her. Later on, during the show, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Looked around and there was some venue employee, who asked me, shouting over the music, to sit down so that the people behind me could see. Now, I am a tad over 6'3", but...I was standing in front of a pole! There was nobody directly behind me, nor could there be. Even more ridiculous, the entire audience was standing up, so, presumably to change this, the guy went on to speak to the people in the aisle seats of the next several rows. None of them sat down either. He played on Extreme's last album "Waiting for the Punchline" and has been in Steve Vai's touring band for a while. Probably has a lot of other credits that I'm not thinking of right now. He looked like a kid in a candy store up there with Mike! cheers, -Neil. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 26 Mar 2002 18:42:03 +0800 From: "Ambassador Nelaskon" To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Subject: Superior - We take orders world wide now! Where's your web page, man?? Not even a week ago I went around the net looking to see how your new CD was coming along. I found a web page, but it wasn't very informative.
