Still, there are no mayor changes in style, so, if you enjoyed the first one, there's no reason why you wouldn't enjoy the second one. Message-ID: hey, i just got Vai's "Alive in an Ultra World", & i must say, i'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about this incredible double live disc. some extremely inspired & well done music. very polished for songs written & learned on the fly, and then recorded after 3 or 4 rehearsals, if any at all along the way. anyhow, i was wondering if anyone knows of any sites that have lyrics posted for the songs on the album that actually have words. they are few & far between, but beautiful nonetheless. vai's homepage doesn't have anything, but i didn't know if any hardcore fans went & posted lyrics or not. just thought i'd ask. thanks. -eric NP- Alive in an Ultra World, disc 2: "Babushka" "The things that matter the least in life get the most appreciation. The things that matter the most don't get enough." -me email_address_removed SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 10 Nov 2001 16:24:13 -0800 From: "TREVOR HOIT" To: Subject: cd arranging/reviews Message-ID: <007701c16a47$311eaa00$message_id_removed> >I'm one of those shallow people who arrange their cds according to how much they like them. >POS's OHBTCL is second to last. And that's saying a lot, because I own a Warrant cd (and that's ranked higher) So, actually how much you like the cd or the amount that you play it? I mean, if I went the cd I've played the most times, then England Dan & John Ford Coley would be my favorite band. But they're not. I like many, many bands a lot more, I just can't listen to them over and over again. There is no way in the world I could arrage almost 3000 cd according to preference. Best to stick by release date. :) Hey Jam, Thanks for the reviews on TA21, MM2, and JRudess. Now how about Leonardo-The Absolute Man?
