Thanks guys! I am still left with questions after hearing that Sonar was a bit unstable, and that other programs might work better but not be as easy. Anyone familiar with Logic Audio or Steingerg's Cubase VST 5? One reply said that sound-making should be done by the keyboard before puttign it into the computer. Actually, I do not have a keyboard capable of generating the exact sounds I need. That's why I need to work with MIDI and use the PROGRAM to do all my sound editing. I heard that Sonar could do all the stuff I said I needed, but maybe not as well as others. Can CUbase or others do all that? I know they'll let me notate music, but can I do so without a keyboard? Would I be able to splice/equalize, etc WAV files with those? Thanks, and sorry to bombard the list with these messages ..... actually, now that I think of it, we need this kind of stuff to stir the list up a bit, eh? :) Cyaron, who is supposed to get a program tomorrow afternon ... ack :) -- "Never stop dreaming, because your dreams will never die.
