It is very different from the scattered effort that was Bulbous, which I thought was decent at best. The new CD is definitely worth buying! This one has songs that stack up to the rest of the catalog. Stand out tracks: "Believe", "False Alarm", "Vegatable", "Static" and the title track. Hope that helps. I'm not usually into those Korn > Biscuit type of bands, but I just saw the video for one of their songs > and liked it and bought the cd and it's really not bad. that's funny that you mentioned this. about a month ago, i saw their video for "crawl", and thought it was a pretty good tune. however, just 3 days ago i saw the video for "in the end", and promptly picked the disc up the very next afternoon. only 1 or 2 songs that i tend to skip over pretty consistently. on the whole though, it's a pretty damned good disc, and this is coming from someone who *can't stand* limp bizkit or korn. very pleasant surprise to say the least. also, for those that pay attention & care, you know that i'll normally put up a review or two every month or so, most recently being the new tony mccalpine & the new billy sheehan. well, i just snagged up the new vinnie moore disc, which will be reviewed shortly, as well as fellow jammer scott mosher's disc "virtuality", as soon as it arrives in the mail. should be a day or two. till then, peace, eric "The things that matter the least in life get the most appreciation. Aren't you guys supposed to tell me that days/weeks in advance? >Some help you are... :) :) :) It's called "Manic Moonlight" and, to be honest, I'm not too crazy about it. It's very low-key, and, while I give 'em credit for experimenting sonically, only a few songs really did anything for me even after several listens. In other words, pretty weak...at least in my opinion. Go for Poundhound's latest if you're looking for more of the traditional King's X sound.
