Here's an idea. Why not take the political discussions to *private email*, where they belong, instead of posting them here where they're bound to start flame wars? I've seen several longtime list members responding to the latest "terrorist, WTC, etc." threads. You should know better by now :) Think before you hit the Send button, folks. cheers, Phil =============================================== Phil Carter -- phil (at) usefulware (dot) com -- 770-424-2525 ext. 207 Visit http://www.usefulware.com/ for ConnectionMagic for ISPs "I should never have written all those tank programs." -- Kevin Flynn, "Tron" ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 09 Oct 2001 15:37:00 -0500 From: "Al @ Switchcraft" To: retaehT maerD Subject: I need to vent.. Message-ID: I want to remind people of something.. If it had not been for U.S. involvement in W.W.II, most of you WHITE people would be speaking German. And for those other than whites, care make guesses regarding your future? If the Taliban and other Islamic extremists had the technology, (They certainly have the will) The entire USA would be a vast wasteland. How do you think that would affect the world economy? And do you really think they would stop with the USA? The USA has the ability to vaporize the entire Middle East, yet thus far we've elected not to use such extreme measures. Who are the real tyrants here? Our Government certainly isn't perfect, but it sure has saved a lot of your asses. And more than likely will continue to do so. While I can not recall that joke I sent to the Jam, I do regret sending it. Apologies to anyone offended by it. However, I assure you God had nothing to do with it. Opportunistic people will use whatever is at their disposal to convince, brainwash, and encourage other people to things they want done.
