At first I thought you said you met a woman who looked like GT. Scary!!! Anyway you must be one ugly mother, cuz GT is! :) I just saw him Sat night on the second night of their two concerts that they were taping for a live double cd and dvd. GT still has the voice. They just have to work on the songwriting. Seriously, does anyone listen to HitNF or Q2K? They played a lot from all albums except none from Mindcrime. :( Apparently the night before they played a good portion of it. Damn! I kissed the tracks the gods from ST trod ;) Then IG came and OMG - wow (I'm a bassist so what else could I say ?) Then ST split and since their back together only 3mn of good music is on each of their latest albums (not to mention 3sec of good music on the CycoMiko albums *vomit*) But being the general headcase I am, I bought "Mas Borracho" all the same and here's my verdict. It's quite good (surprise), the only good thing that Muir has done for a long while now. Out of the 13 IG songs on the album 11 are great and 2 get on your nerves after a while. Out of the 5 bonus tracks all but the CycoMiko track are cool. Over all the songs are in the IG style, for me a little under the standards of Groove family... & The plague... but overall very good stuff. If your hesitating --> buy it. I'm not into Rap-metal or rapping in general, so I haven't listened to it in years and years. I did go to the ST show where Infectious Grooves opened the show in Dallas. Muir definitely is Psycho.. He just rambled on and on between songs but he was dead-on with the songs. I was glad to see ST but personally, I can do without IG.. Message-ID: I found an AWESOME pair of headphones for 40 bucks at CompUSA one day. Now, I have considered myself an audiofile for quite some time, so you can trust my recommendation.. I've put about 1k into my car audio, and around 850 into my complete computer audio systems. I was running low on cash when I remembered I needed some phones, so I figured I'd give Plantronics' HS-1 a try. Boy was I surprised!! They're listed for $79US, but I did get them for $40. Now, their only downfall is that they're not digital, but Plantronics has a digital line out also that is slightly more expensive. They have amazing bass, an extra long cord, a built-in noise cancelling microphone, volumje control on the cord, and look like they belong with Buzz Lightyear. You can't go wrong with these! Dude, this is no offense to you, but no true audiophile would claim that digital ANYTHING was better than analog. :) Also, if you think 1k on car audio and 850 on computer speakers is bad, ask Al how much his stereo system costs. Also, if I recall, his dream system (which is the best equipment WITHOUT GOING TOO FAR, in his opinion) costs around $202,000. Actually, that's TWO systems; a home stereo and a home theater system (they SHOULD really be two different systems). ------------------------------------------------- Andrew Coutermarsh email_address_removed http://cout.dhs.org/ ------------------------------------------------- "Friends are people who'll help you move. Seriously, does anyone listen to HitNF or > Q2K? yeah, i actually do listen to Q2K periodically, because i honestly enjoy some of the stuff on there, such as "Liquid Sky" & "Right Side of My Mind". however, when it comes to HitNF, i could probably count the times i've played it through on one hand & not run out of fingers. deffinetly their worst showing IMHO. i think we all wish they would go back to the days of O:M and RfO, even Empire. who knows, there may still be hope. keeping my fingers crossed, eric ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 1 Aug 2001 16:18:35 -0500 From: "Souter, Jan-Michael" To: "'ytsejam@torchsong.com'" Subject: RE: Stagnant Jam Message-ID: <74ACE5A6CB89D3119E6F00609720274A05A8AC66@ISDCRE00> AudioGalaxy.com Awesome program > -----Original Message----- > From: Todd O.
