OK, I got it out and it's a little better than that. There is also a cool song called The Truth and the video is very good and not in Quicktime! There is also a cool song called The Truth and the video is very good and not in Quicktime! >< I plan on getting this single, but while I wait for it, I'm wondering: is "The Truth" a cover song or is it original?? --part1_98.18358865.2891eb5b_boundary ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Jul 2001 15:52:02 -0400 From: Dan Costello To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: G3 in NYC Message-ID: Damn! almost all new stuff from JP. good show! >If the G3 tour hasn't hit your area yet, go. Hell of an evening of great >music. Just don't expect much in the way of autographs afterwards. Bah! sorry about your misfortune, but I must disagree. True, neither Satch, Jeff Campiitelli, nor Dave Weiner came out to sign anything saturday night in new york, but EVERYBODY else did! (including JR, who happened to be in attendance). I brought my guitar to get it signed by some of the guys - I got JP, MP, Dave LaRue, Stu Hamm, Billy Sheehan, Virgil Donati, Mike Keneally (who is EXTREMELY cool!!! great musician and a great guy!), and Steve Vai (who signed the back of the headstock). So that night went extremely well. If any of you are wondering how I got my guitar in there, I stayed at the Beacon Hotel right next door, so I got it out of my room after the show. If you ever go to a show there, definitely check out that hotel. Summer rates for a two-room 2-bed suite w/ kitchenette is only $165 (not too shabby for the upper west side). Not that I needed the kitchenette, but that was what they had. >And getting stars' autographs is why we all love music, right? It's SO >important!!! Just think how many chicks you can get when you show off >your mighty autograph collection! I don't know - I like doing it. My girlfriend was fairly impressed (and she's only heard of Satriani and DT), and my guitarist friends are practically seething with envy. :-) -Dan. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
