Maybe that box was the only one they had available to put out on display. --part1_bd.107fdf4c.28739e7d_boundary ---YTSEJAM FILTER: Rest of message skipped because of attachment ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Jul 2001 21:54:30 -0700 From: Michael Kizer To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Requiem for a Dream Message-ID: At 11:09 AM 7/3/01 -0700, you wrote: >I'm pretty sure that the DVD is the director's cut, and that you can't get >anything else. Actually, the DVD is available in two different versions, the edited version and the director's cut. I have the director's cut version and understand that the edited version removes some of the sex act from the end (and possibly trimmed some other scenes but I am not sure). I have seen the edited version on sale at Target (probably Kmart and the other "family" stores), while Best Buy had the Director's cut. If you are buying it, be sure to pay close attention to the front of the packaging to make sure you get the right one. I doubt that the edited version will detract from viewing this film as a rental, but I always opt for the director's cut if I am buying it. ~Michael Kizer < email_address_removed > < ICQ # 2070538 > "Enter ivory gates through midnight skies..." ~ http://www.ivorygate.com >>> Fates Warning ~ Island In The Stream <<< >>> Dream Theater and Kevin Moore "Unofficial" Song Books <<< >>> Underground Internet Radio at: http://www.ytseradio.com <<< ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 4 Jul 2001 15:59:03 +1000 From: "dreamryche" To: Subject: Re: Pink Cream 69 Message-ID: <000d01c1044e$6df334a0$fd3836cb@PaulTadday> Wasn't Andi Deris from Helloween their vocalist at some stage?? Is it any point- and-click? Can I bring my Canon SLR camera, with 1600 speed film? That's such an arbitrary thing... ------------------------------------------------- Andrew Coutermarsh email_address_removed http://cout.dhs.org/ ------------------------------------------------- "I'm not going to have some reporters pawing through our papers.
