Message-ID: <005b01c0e999$ba53dc20$ed3836cb@PaulTadday> Sorry... Can't say that I see any humour in gang rape even if it is only a pun. This cd should be awesome... Hopefully it will kick OiaLt's butt!! At least it should tide us over until next year when the next studio album comes out. And don't forget Mullmuzzler 2! 'cuz the arrangements and songwriting of the last one was very appealing. =M __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo! I hope the mix is a bit clearer than the dvd, cause the SFAM part is "ok" the bonus materials sounds way better IMO. This will be sweet. For a while, they used the beginning of "914" from the LTE album as lead-in music from a break or at the end of a set of songs or whatever. Then yesterday I heard them using a similar bass line from the Queensryche song "Disconnected." And finally today, they used the beginning of Erotomania. Well I guess this is as close to good music as we're gonna hear from commercial radio, but it's better than nothing. As big as DT ever gets, they'll still always be the band playing the background music you hear on radio stations and the music you hear at hockey and basketball games. ------------------------------ Date: 31 May 2001 17:43:59 -0000 From: "Awake ." Because they're a BITCH to play!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried one once, and apart from destroying my left hand, I found it almost impossible to fingerpick with any sort of consistancy - barely on a note level, let alone in terms of tone. Granted, as JR pointed out "You play it often enough and it eventually comes together", but I didn't have the patience or the pain threshold. They're fantastic-sounding instruments, but I think that for the money, I'd rather have a Stick. ~SJD ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 1 Jun 2001 11:40:52 +1000 From: "Paul Tadday" To: Subject: Re: Live is Cool but .... So therefore isn't it great to be able to have a triple live cd to tide you over until early next year when the new album is released? Not to mention that the new Mullmuzzler is due soon too plus there's new Magna Carta projects in the wind as well. I think as DT fans we are damn lucky to have a band that releases material this often, studio albums, live albums, videos, dvd's, side projects... it's all good!! Paul. ----- Original Message ----- ]From: Eric George > i was under the impression that the new album wasn't coming out until the > very beginning of 2002? i may be wrong, but i believe those are the words > straight from MP's mouth. anyone? ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 1 Jun 2001 00:34:53 -0400 (EDT) From: Eric George To: Multiple recipients of list Subject: Re: Live is Cool but ....
