Watched it three times already, once with a bunch of friends. Been flooded by requests to repeat the DVD-watching party :) The DVD is region 1, not all-region (region 0) as mentioned in dreamtheater.net. Lucky my player is a doctored all-region version ! One question, though. You guys speak of easter eggs in this DVD. Can it be accessed without DVD-ROM drive ? 90 mins of SFAM + 60 min. of 'deleted scenes' + 25 min of behind the scenes = 175 mins. Box says 190 mins. What is in the missing 15 mins ? Please somebody enlighten me ! Cheers, Sigit np Bernd Steidl "Irrlichter" ps : hate the flimsy cardboard box. much prefer plastic snap-on ones. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 9 May 2001 00:58:33 -0400 From: Dan Costello To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: My DVD Message-ID: Well, I got my dvd a couple days ago, and so far I've watched the first chapter - good stuff. However, my 8x dvd-rom is such a hunk of crap (don't ever buy any BTC products, their web site sucks, and their support is completely nonexistant) - the video on my 900 Athlon is rather jerky, and audio cd playback is full of static. Soooo, if ayone cares, I'm gonna sell it to somebody else and buy one of those Creative Encore 12x kits tomorrow. I refuse to watch this dvd if I can't watch it properly. :-) -Dan. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! It turned out that parts of the performance (during the spirit carries on) brought me to tears. In fact, I rewound and played it again, and another tear wet my face. Incredible performance from the guys, great songs even better live. Be careful. IT was only the first 5000 (or 10,000 ??) copies of the Jap FII that had the extra bonus mini-CD !! I couldn't access the website above to know if this was stated or not. I would assume that it is impossible to get a new copy that has the CD anymore. Cheers, Mark T.
