Symphony X didn't finish until 2:30am and it was only $10 a ticket. One problem though...EVENT...the sounded awful. Maybe I missed out because I was in "progmetal world" for a few hours and it just didn't fit...or they just really sucked. And I know the drummer of Event reads this list...and all apologies, but Event should have stayed in Boston on Friday. But Symphony X - they put on an epic show. I always knew how good they were from their CD's, but they're even better live. Russell Allen is such an amazing vocalist with a big range and so much power. And Mike Romeo...there was one time when he just shredded arpeggios and chromatic runs for like 3 straight minutes. For a second there, I thought I was at an Yngwie show. ~Chris _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 3 Mar 2001 22:41:16 -0400 From: "Andre Navarro" To: Subject: Re: Dream Theater Message-ID: How bout complete videos! =) > I already posted this on MP.com and Jp.com forums, but here it is, > http://www.bootlegmania.8m.com > this is my site which is based on Dream Theater rare videos, > there are also Met2000,LTE,MP clinic,Steve Vai,Tori Amos videos on the site as > downloadable mpegs. > Just let me what you think ! ------------------------------------------------------------------ Andre Navarro "Hoooowdy hooo!" -Mr. Hanky ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Mar 2001 00:52:05 -0500 (EST) From: Eric George To: Multiple recipients of list Subject: Re: Dream Theater Message-ID: yeah, no kidding. i was a little bit pissed when i went to watch Overture 1928 (the whole song) and found out that the 3 1/2 minutes that it was listed at only wound up being 11 seconds. talk about being short-changed. > > How bout complete videos! =) > > > > I already posted this on MP.com and Jp.com forums, but here it is, > > http://www.bootlegmania.8m.com > > this is my site which is based on Dream Theater rare videos, > > there are also Met2000,LTE,MP clinic,Steve Vai,Tori Amos videos on the > site as > > downloadable mpegs. > > Just let me what you think ! > > > ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Mar 2001 03:29:28 -0500 (EST) From: Andrew Coutermarsh To: Multiple recipients of list Subject: Re: Rare Videos? Just so you know, that WAS a full three and a half minute long video clip, dude. I watched the entire thing after downloading it from his site, so you more than likely were merely cut off after a certain portion of the download. Usually if that happens to me, I try re-downloading it instead of automatically assuming that the webmaster is trying to cheat me out of something that he didn't make money off of anyway. It's hardly "short- changing you" of something if it was going to be free to begin with. ------------------------------------------------- Andrew Coutermarsh email_address_removed http://cout.dhs.org/ ------------------------------------------------- "Prayer has no place in school, just like facts have no place in religion." - Superintendant Chalmers from "The Simpsons" ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of YTSEJAM Digest 5786 **************************
