Message-ID: Hehe I locve finding out of print cd's frmo bands i saw once on headbangers ball in 1992-1994 These guys are pretty good. The singer is a clone of Matt Kramer from Saigin Kick. Metal with some programming done, but not as overkill as Fear Factory more "in the groove" type stuff. Message-ID: <000001c053e0$f149a8d0$message_id_removed> http://www.metal-sludge.com/20QuestionsMoongoose.htm Fozzy, the greatest metal band of all time, stuck in Japan for 20 years, has finally returned! Read the interview, and see lead singer Mongoose talk about Chris Jericho (who has gone so far as to get plastic surgery to look like Mongoose) and Dream Theater! What's the DT-Fozzy connection? Find out here! (Nah, I don't work for Metal Sludge, but hell, the Fozzy mythos is so damn cool...) Oh, also, according to the Sludge Scans, DT has sold 96,217 copies of SFAM as of last week, about 36,779 copies this year (since January 16 -- I'd be willing to bet 90% of those are new fans, as most of the hardcore fans had SFAM within a couple months of its premiere). In an environment where bands like King's X (who *made it* to the top 100 Hard Rock acts of all time according to VH1) can't sell more than a few thousand copies of their new album, Dream Theater's album sales have to be pretty encouraging. Here's hoping the next album will have the same great timing that Images and Words did in 1992. I think with the return of an augmented form of metal, and the kind of kitchy cool 80's hair metal has now, a tongue-in-cheek single (the Canadian Ass And Balls Rap, perhaps?) would probably fly. The funny thing is, DT would be more commercially viable with Mike on vocals because he can't really sing. Sad, sad, sad. Maybe if they named their album "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water Part II: The Return of Penny The Raw And Juicy Beefsteak and Other Rare Loves" they'd sell better. Umm... or not. --Matt ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 21 Nov 2000 12:19:13 -0400 From: email_address_removed To: Subject: NEED A DEGREE FAST LIKE TODAY. 29662 Message-ID: <000037f46d16$000011c9$000073de@> DIPLOMAS
