Ummmm, not so sure. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Nov 2000 10:47:39 -0600 From: Kurt M Hampton To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: Re: Bad Savatage news (at least to me) Message-ID: Well, I am FINALLY starting to like his voice, (oliva)after 2 years. It sucks to see Zach go, but oh well. Read up Caffrey's posts on the MB, zach's been thinking about this since TWOM tour. They are gonna get a new singer cause Oliva's voice can't hold up touring and they are still looking for another guitarist. The band is shambles but as long as Caffrey, Oliva, Middleton and PLate (he's expendable) are around Savatage will always be. That band is a spirit kinda. I am the way I am the light I am the dark inside the night. I hear your hopes I feel you dreams and in the dark I hear your screams Don't turn away Just take my hand and when you make your final stand I be right there I never leave All I ask of you is believe. I REALLY hope they get a singer with a similar voice and as good range as Zakk ...i loveed his voice..because he sounded manly yet he had an awesome range ..very powerful voice.. ive always though that he would be a nice replacement in DT if something happened to JLB.. The DJ came on after the song and said that if you liked that, Matt Pinfield (that horrendously ugly VJ from MTV) recommends that you "Napster" yourself some Porcupine Tree. Neat, huh? I guess I do see the resemblences between the new album and PTree. I just had to review this album (the Radiohead one) for our school newspaper this week. I found it to be thoroughly enjoyable and VERY original. It's nice to see works that have some originality to them being recognized in pop music today. ------------------------------------------------- Andrew Coutermarsh email_address_removed http://cout.dhs.org/ Cloak on IRC ICQ: 2513441 ------------------------------------------------- "I love California. If I had to choose one word to > describe the band, it was definitely be: UNIQUE. I'll take it a step further. In my mind, they're the best prog-metal band on the planet right now, including DT, SX and the rest. Considering their unwavering intensity, their wall-to-wall quality, their technicality, talent and their wondrous originality, there is no other prog-metal band out there that can top them right now. Quote me on that, brutha. ---------------------------- Buy all Pain of Salvation!!! ---------------------------- - Dr. Teeth __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
