Having no possibility of recommending any Enchant recordings (just because of the fact that I am not too familiar with the band) I will, however, wholeheartedly recommend Artension's "Forces of Nature" CD. Pick up this one and I am sure you will not regret. I have their "Machine" (as far as I know it is the follower of "Forces of Nature") and this one is not so good. But again, try "Forces of Nature" - it is a little masterpiece. Are >they playing any other US dates, or is that a > one-off solo-type show? Don't know, but EVERYONE here should do everything possible to attend ProgPowerUSA. Yeah, PoS is one of the big draws, but as of now, Nevermore, Reading Zero, Zero Hour, and Evergrey are also scheduled, which really qualifies as one of the best metal 'festivals' this country has ever seen. And it'll be a small crowd kind of affair, making it all the better. Glenn Harveston - ProgPowerUSA organizer - is a GREAT guy and is TOTALLY dedicated to shoving progmetal into the face of everyone who says there's no market for it in the US. PoS alone is worth the $50. Add in those other bands (among others) and it's the deal of the century. Mike __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Pain of Salvation will be co-headlining the ProgPower 2001 Festival in Chicago (sometime in February). Nevermore is headlining the first (power-metal) day, and PoS is headlining the 2nd (prog-metal) day. The lineup looks like it's gonna kick much ass, BTW. - Joe D. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 20 Oct 2000 16:43:38 +0100 From: "Charles Farrell" To: Subject: London Hammersmith show Message-ID: Date: Fri, 20 Oct 2000 07:38:38 GMT ]From: "Douglas Gray" To: ytsejam@torchsong.com Subject: London Hammersmith show > I'm off to the Apollo tomorrow (Saturday) night for the last night > of the tour - who all is going & anyone up for a quick half before > the show? Well I'll be there, as will Mr Borland, Ashley Wong - if he hasn't been relocated to Sweden, Adrian Longley, American jammer Jaime Kimpton (who has popped across the atlantic to enjoy the great weather we are enjoying this fall) and no doubt a few others. Hammermith isn't the great place that it used to be for rock pubs, having been invaded by the All-bar-One/Pitcher and Piano type of drinking establishment. There's 'The Old Trout' which is inside the Broadway Shopping Centre close to Tescos, Costa Coffee and one of the two exits from the Underground or a little way down Talgarth Road (Going South from Hammersmith towards Fulham and Putney), there's one of those fake Irish drinking holes called 'Finegans Wake' or somethjing similar.
