Excuse me if I'm wrong, but isn't there some sort of list rule against polls such as this (which is quite a bit like a top 10 list)? Ah, yes, there is. Actualluy, I thought of this for quite sometime. However, I thought about making list of DT's favourite songs (And it will be cool if eriC will make a list of The Greatest Songs of All Times as well... That will be intresting...) Anyway, Everyone - send me a list of your top 15 favourite song of DT (or majesty, all in all it IS DT) - and not in any particular order (I know I wouldn't be able to make such list). Also, arrange all DT's albums (WDaDU, I&W, Awake, ACoS, FII) in order from 1 (your favourite) to 5 (your least favourite - as we all know, none of them is not good). Send it to my PRIVATE E-mail - email_address_removed (With the subject: DT-fav). I'll give it a week, and I'll post the results. Its all about the groove. 2. Everything else is secondary... Nothing is more evident than all the new stuff I've heard from them. Yes, I did catch LTE but that in its self is a crazy concept album vibe... It does groove pretty well at times and has some advanced grooves... I just say we'll see more Groove than Riff... =) ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. Always listen to a keyboard before buying it, and I don't mean with headphones. Ask the store- people to hook it up to an amp, if they won't, they're not worth your money. As far as models are concerned, the Korg M1 is a decent board, although its sounds are dated. Give the newer Korg boards a listen, the N5EX or the N364/264. I bought the N5 for around $1000, and that's the Belgian price. I'm sure you could find it cheaper in the US. You ARE in the US, I assume? If you're still going for secondhand, try the Korg 01/W or the X-series (X3, X5, X5D). They use the same sound synthesis as the N-series, except the N's are 64 voice polyphonic, whereas the X's, except for the X5D, are only 32 voice. Hope this info helps, and while you're at it, if you wanna hear an N5 in action, download the two snippets on my website <--shameless plug Pop-quiz: Can anyone tell I'm a Korg fanatic? :-) -- ***************** C o u n t Z e r o ***************** http://gallery.uunet.be/fivengrok/index.html ** "Madness takes it's toll Please have exact change." ** ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jul 1999 18:35:36 EDT From: email_address_removed To: email_address_removed Subject: DT show Message-ID: Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get my hands on the 10/27/97 show from The Odeon in Cleveland, Oh. You mean she does music too? Wow! All this time, I thought she was just a pin up or somethin'. No wonder I get snickers about my windows background :) But seriously, I've checked out her web pages, and downloaded the pics, and still never heard any of her songs. I like it better that way. kevin _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Yeah they do a little. Ice Age is a LOT heavier though. Also, I don't really like the vocalist that much, he screams to much IMO. But anyway, if you like LTE-ish speedy metal you should definitely check them out... BTW,Ice Age must be the CD that took me the longest time to get into.
