Actually, Myung is predominantly a Korean name, and is NOT very common at
all in Japanese.

	UpStairs at Nick's is located at 2nd and Market streets in Odle
City, Philadelphia.  Very easy to get to from all the major roads (95,1,
76, etc, etc).  Email me for directions (I'll see what I can do ).  No
idea about the cost, but it's a club show, so it shouldn't go for any more
than 15.

hmm.. actually stating it was common was probably overstepping myself a
bit.. but I do know of cases where it has existed. As for the Korean bit,
like I said I know nothing about it. Ah well.. I'll back down on this one.

As far as I know he IS Korean.
His family name is typical Korean and not Japanese.

The SB mailing list has had a couple posts about Nick's.  One said:

You know, this is totally bogus. I just looked at the ARts Center, (pnc
bank, formerly garden state arts center in holmdel NJ), and the only good
show there is going to be Roger Waters. I would give up my testicles to see
the Beard, and as usual, the East coast people are sleeping. Man, I am
depressed. I wonder how many trains it would take to get to phillie.

Brian, you're right.  If I remember correctly, most Japanese names end in
a vowel.  Myung is DEFINITELY not a Japanese name.  I seem to remember
that Myung is a Korean name.

Not that I'm an expert on the subject.

Me neither. I don't know shit about Korean or Japanese. I just know that Mr. 
John Myung hath personally stated that he is of Korean descent. Once again, as 
if it matters or something. The Tae Kwon Do thing was a joke anyway... :-P

	You could always take the train to 30th street.  I'd pick you up
