I not only saw Journey in concert last night but I waited them out and MET them afterwards. It was absolutely incredible. They were phenominal, the new singer kicks ass. I know the tour is limited but if you have a chance to go see them you should do it. My roommate and I were some of the youngest people there and the band was quite amused by us. They were great guys, very willing to give autographs and chat. Not to mention an incredible performance. In summary, if you can. GO!!! Die Krupps did a cover album of Metallica songs at one time (I don't know the name of the album or the year it was released), that had Enter Sandman on it. So to answer your question Metallica DEFINITELY wrote the song. And how the hell you heard Die Krupps do the song pre '80s is beyond me, since neither Metallica nor Krupps were around in the '70s. It should be out in Japan before year end. It was originally to be out in August, but since things did not work out with Mangini Nuno had to play all of the drums himself and it took a bit longer than expected. Nuno is still looking for a new drummer; He has tried out a few but has not found the right one yet. Regarding the name of the band, Mourning Widows (as reported on numerous other sites) is being considered, but is NOT yet official. He had other names, but they were taken by other bands elsewhere.
