The CD is the natural progression for the band, still has some doomy elements but overall it's much more complex and of course Fredrik Ohlsson is at his best again, his up there with Andre Matos as being the best singer I've ever heard. The CD consists of ten very well crafted songs clocking in at 61:22. And you know that movie was >realistic as hell... :) that movie sucks, Ive been renting a lot of movies lately and that one sucked bad, on the last 2 days I've rented... highlander 3 - I rented this because I heard that Nuno wrote a song for it and it was played on the credits, but it seems that only the european version of it has it, the US version ends with loreena mckenit (sp?) do the right thing - I usually like spike lee's movies but i really didnt catch what he was trying to say here... dune - with sting, music by toto and brian eno, I saw this when i was very little and wanted to watch it again to see if I was missing something good, I found it boring... children of the corn 2 - when I was in junior high I had this video tape of movies of stephen king, Ive read some of his stuff and he is not my fav writer but I like him....the movies based on his stories usually suck bad, this one wasnt as bad as i thought.....on children of the corn 5 you can see Ahmet and Diva Zappa as crazy corn killers... strange days - written by the director of titanic, yes, James Cameron, I liked the story and the movie...pretty good Full Metal Jacket - a very good movie directed by stanley kubrik...it's a war movie by the way... picture perfect - damn I dont know why did I rent this...maybe cause I like jennifer anniston...damn.... and I dont remember the name of the last movie....it was with anthony hopkins, brigitte fonda, mathew broderik and who knows who else, it was a satire of the life of Dr Kellog, the "inventor" of corn flakes....I didnt like it as much as I thought I was going to....damn.... any good movie recommendations? >>I was a dumbass and started learning Dream Theater songs first, before I >>even looked at the basics of guitar. I was a conan doyle fan and I think ive read all of the original Sherlock holmes stories...but I never thought of that.... and yes, watching other people play guitar is kind of frustrating cause it looks so damn easy. --- MP3 of the week - "Coyote Face (LIVE)" By Z http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/2025/ Alan Estrada Adler, ICQ #9267174 Monterrey, Mexico -------------------------------------------------------- TAKE NOTE OF MY NEW EMAIL ADDRESS: email_address_removed ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 04 Sep 1998 10:17:52 +0200 From: Dushko To: email_address_removed Subject: Hank Marvin/Charlie's video/Once in a LIVEtime Message-ID: > Date: Thu, 03 Sep 1998 12:59:43 -0400 > From: Pat Daugherty > > First off who is Hank Marvin? Wag the dog (I dunno if you can rent this yet, I can't) Terminator 2 (oh, Arnie sux, but the film's great!) Face/Off - The smartest action film I've seen Not as good, but well deserved to be seen: Sleepers (Kevin Bacon/DeNiro/Hoffman/Jason Patric) Casino (DeNiro/Pesci/Pacino) Hamlet (Mel Gibson's version - it's great! If you don't like drama - = keep away! :-) It (Stephen King - the best film made of King's stories) Sometimes they come back (another quite good King movie) Carrie (you follow...) The Plauge (I think that's its name - 'Pestens Tid' in Swedish (kinda = hard to know). 6 hours of King!!! :-) Then, if you've already seen those, you could always rent some Dolph = Lundgren or Jackie Chan stuff or other bad karate/shoot-'em-up-movies. = They suck, but they entertain.
