Maybe Eddie wanted to do something completely different or he realized that he could do a lot more with Gary because of his greater vocal ability. Great review for the band, lots of positive stuff, but this guy just didn't know what the hell he was talking about as far as background of the band. Yes, I am anal, but I'm sure if it were a bad review, people would just rip into this guy. Plus, it's just unprofessional if you're going to do a review and not do any research. Plus, you sound like a moron, regardless if you liked the show or not. Examples....... " The piece [Pull me Under], along with their tongue-in-cheek second encore in which they all switched instruments, and jokingly ripped through one of their early songs, Nightmare Cinema were by far the most energetic and best parts of the show..." Now if anyone has any demos of this old song, "Nightmare Cinema", please put up an MP3 on the Web for me and the other jammers..... Is "Perfect Strangers" that vague a song as to not be recognized - by a "rock reviewer"??????? Another example: " The group played medleys which were seemlessly (sic) comprised of numerous short pieces, including 'Crack', 'Acos (sic) II and IV'..." Obtaining a setlist and just taking from there really doesn't do much for the factual integrity of an article, right? Hell, I would put on the set- list song titles like "This song sucks" or "reviewers blow cow nadz", just to see if it would be printed in the paper as the actual names of the songs. OK, enough ranting for me - it was a great review from a person obviously not familiar with the band, which is definitely a good sign. I guess the fact that it's absolutely gorgeous outside and I'm stuck at work equals me being very edgy today. Thank you, and you can all rot in hell. :) -Al ===================================================================== b l i n d l a b o r s t h e b l i n d a n d I a m u n w i l l i n g t o u n c o v e r m y e y e s ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ email_address_removed OR email_address_removed OR email_address_removed HOMEPAGE:http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Towers/9280/index.html ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 24 Apr 1998 15:48:11 -0400 From: email_address_removed Subject: Trading Message-ID: > Graham wrote: > Please note, I TRADE ONLY, I don't sell these discs.
