I am desperately looking for the Lie Single! I've already talked to Mike Barr (Prism Records) and he's looking into it. I am wondering though if there is anyone who has an extra copy they are willing to sell or know of a "Hard to find music" place that may stock it. I'm pretty definite it's going to be APSOG all the way through again. But they have been listening in on the Official Fates Warning list (Parallels) for suggestions for encore songs! So if there's particular older stuff you want to hear in the encores, get on Parallels and post them! (about this cd, anyway) :) This cd is totally great, combining elements of SX, Strat., Therion, and Royal Hunt, while still sounding original. Tons of neo-classical keyboards and guitar. They have nice little intros/interludes with flute/pipe, harpsichord, and acoustic guitar that sound Medieval/Renaissancey. 2. Vanden Plas-The God Thing Wow! I thought Rhapsody was good. Musically, I would compare this to AWAKE. The vocals aren't bad, but kind of Scorpions/Dokken-y, like on their last cd. Both worth picking up. (Hasn't Skadz got an Yste-female counter somewhere handy ?) I'm just curious mainly, most of my female friends are into Real McCoy and various other dance shit and when hearing DT they start having what appears to be muscle spasms in their legs cause they can't tap their feet along to TTT from start to finish in a regular beat. I'm not generalising on ALL females either (don't get me wrong there, shit, that could be BIG trouble) but most girls I know hate DT because they just sound too obscure. Them listening to Metropolis would be like trying to force a basketball down a garden hose....too much information. On another subject, don't you hate it when you get your copy of APSOG and you fail miserably at trying to describe what it's like to one of your friends via email because it creates an atmosphere like nothing ever heard before ? (well it does IMHO anyway). Geez, the dilemmas we face, eh ? Until the eleventh hour calls.... Luke. ------------------------------ End of YTSEJAM Digest 3252 **************************
