Didn't mean to do that.... I sent a check to the DTIFC back in October. My check was returned to me, cashed of course, but I still haven't received the Xmas care package. Neil was the one who told me how to join, but he expressly told me not to email him with questions about the fanclub. Does anyone know where I can direct my questions about the DTIFC? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Message-ID: Heya, Me and Bret (who just started posting to the 'Jam recently.. but then again, so did I) were talking about how cool the individual members of DT were recently. Not just as musicians, but as people. For example, in LiT, how funny KevMo is. (Yes, I know KevMo isn't in DT anymore, I'm still going through withdrawl) So we we talking about each individual member, and we got to John Myung and realized that we really don't know as much about him as the others. He's kinda "quiet" on stage, isn't much seen on LiT, etc. I've seen many bios on them and read the FAQ many a time, but it still doesn't seem like we really know much about him, personality-wise.. I don't really know what kind of an answer I'm looking for... maybe if someone could reccomend a video that has more of Myung on it? Of course, >Actually the song is called "moonbubbles." "Barfbag" appears on the Mike >Bahr WDATU disc. However, he labelled it as "showdown." AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!! No no no no no!!! - here we go again!! :) :) Okay everyone take notes (or check out the "article" about instrumentals on the official DT web page!) Moon Bubbles was an instrumental done during the first part of the I&W tour - it consisted of bass and guitar - that's all. Once you here this track, you'll understand why it was called Moon Bubbles. The solo at the end of TLF (which is on the LiT video as well as the Lords of Sound, and Dream in Progress boots) as far as I know has no name. Barfbag as is stated above is the instrumental that follows TLF during the final part of the I&W tour. This is the instrumental that appears after TLF on WDATU as well as on the Lost in the Sky boot. Hope everything is clear now (for at least 6 months ;) ). It sounded like a combination of Dream Theater and Yngwie Malmsteen (his first album). The following is partly taken from a Website: "Artension is the name of a new band, formed around the keyboard player Vitalij Kuprij, born in Ukraine, and the Swiss guitarist Roger Staffelbach. Mike Varney, the big boss behind the Shrapnel label, coupled those 2 musicians on account of their demo to 3 American colleagues. These 3 musicians are singer John West, bass player Kevin Chown (played with Tony MacAlpine!!!) and drummer Mike Terrana (Tony MacAlpine and ex-Yngwie!!!). The debut album of Artension, titled 'Into The Eye Of The Storm', received possitive reactions in the US. The music of Artension is best described as progressive and neo-classic hardrock and therefore it will be interesting for people who like bands as Rainbow, Deep Purple and Dream Theater." A Belgium magazine gives 90 out of 100 and compares them with DT and SG. I think it's worth checking out.
