THE YTSE JAM RULES!! <--- that song is sooo cooool. Kurt, I know what you mean !! Charlie's voice and his live on-stage performance left a LOT to be desired. I have two videotaped 1989 DT concerts with Charlie D. on vocals and his stage performance was not so hot. His voice was terrible. He just was not "in tune" with the rest of the band. One of my favorite moments of that 1989 DT concert was watching a very young John Petrucci run across stage to the camera (these two concerts were taped by the band) which was filmed ON STAGE, and John playfully picked his nose with his middle finger while giving 'the bird'. Hehe He'd never do that now which is why that was so cool. Then the camera follows DT backstage after the 2nd concert and Mike P. frantically asks "anyone got a light? anyone got a light?" Melissa Etheridege, The drummer for Living Color, The Drummer and guitar player for Aerosmith, most of Collective Soul (I could be wrong on that one it might be Candlebox) and a whole load of jazz players. But whoever said that Berklee is easy to get into was right. I went up there to audition (for electric bass). It was extremely easy, simple scales, diatonic chord relationships, key signatuires, sight reading, some ear training, and a prepared peice ot two. I got accepted, but I'm not going to go there. Gonna major in psychology instead. There were some fantastic players that I met up there, but there were a lot of people who couldn't play MUSIC to save their lives. As the man in the music store acrss the street said "ther's a whole lot of wanking going on in there!" Just go home and practiice!
