I don't necessarily want to take up for the current incarnation of KC (and I missed Conan), but I have found that Crimson really takes a few listens to get into. I recently bought _Discipline_, and I thought it sucked initially. But it has really grown on me (God help me, I even hum the intro to "Elephant Talk!"). So don't slag them based on one listen. Well, as you said, S&G don't count. As for the others, let's take a look. Tom Petty has only released one album to my knowledge, so he doesn't count. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have changed lineups at least once, so they don't count. Bryan Adams might be a valid answer. I don't have all his stuff, so I don't know if that band has always been the same, but something tells me that that's an OK answer, too. As far as the Indigo Girls, I get the impression that the band consists of those two, and they just keep hiring studio musicians. If that's the case, then they count.
