For anyone interested, I can get Skyway of Nightmares and Diminsion shift. The guy I get boots from ordered them, thinking that I'd want them, but I don't. These are new CD's, and I told him that since he ordered them, I'd try to get rid of them for him. The cost will be $25 plus whatever it costs to ship a CD these days (probably a dollar or so). Anyone interested, please E-MAIL me (the adress is in my SIG)!!! How many of you out there subscribe to the ML of a group that might not have anything in common with DT? In my case, i also belong to Echoes/Pink Floyd(when its up), Alan Parsons Project, Enya and Steely Dan. Anyone else? As per TDOE being a 'board or not: it's a board. There is only one ambience mic... the crowd noise has a "color" that can only be found on other soundboard tapes.... so experience seems to tell me. :) there are telltale percussive elements that are also only found on true soundboards, and an amount of separation of the instruments that is present at the soundboard itself but is then lost in the mix when it is output over the speakers. Even the best audience DAT recorder with $500 mics picking up pro-logic surround, from optimum positions, cannot capture the instruments OUT OF their ordinary mix... it's just a portion of signal that's either there or not there... and in every true SB boot (and not necessarily in FM radio ones) it's just there.
