I'd love to hear what you have to say... Well, since I'm a "semi-international reader" (Polish, living temporarily in US), I can say how I got introduced to Dream Theater: by email friend living Poland. Some time around Nov of 92, while we were discussing our all-time favorite group Queensryche, Pawel suggested I check out Dream Theater. He told me, he had been hearing this amazing song called "Pull Me Under" on Polish radio... it turned out I heard the song already a few times here as well, thought it was incredible but didn't catch a name of the band (these things take me some time :) Last year, while on my vacation in Warsaw, I saw a few I&W copies in some record stores over there. I asked in each one I walked into, just to create mass confusion in the ones that didn't have it... :) Also, Pawel has been telling me that Live At Marquee is easily available over there right now. _______________________________________________________________________________ Art is a lie that enables us to realize the truth. - Pablo Picasso. Sometimes you hear them on the radio and tv. Another Day was included in the third power ballad CD compilation called "even more power ballads" and the 2 first CD's sold a LOT in Sweden so a lot of people have a chance to hear them. Ok, maybe most teenage girls but anyway they get more attention. And as told you before, the live concert from Gino in Stockholm was played on the radio some weeks ago. I agree that Magellan are a very good band. I have listened for them a lot since a bought their latest CD. Do any of you have any, or know of any bootlegs with SAIGON KICK. If you do you GOTTA LET ME KNOW. thanx :) -- ***************************************************************************** * Lars Karlsson ** Sandviken ** SWEDEN ** email: email_address_removed.se * *---------------------------------------------------------------------------* ** Dream Theater ** Saigon Kick ** Led Zeppelin ** Metallica * Deep Purple ** ** MAGELLAN ** SHADOW GALLERY ** DAN REED NETWORK ** AC DC * BLACK SABBATH ** ** Queensryche ** Galactic Cowboys ** Rush ** Psychotic Waltz ** Rainbow *** ***************************************************************************** ------------------------------ End of Digest ************************
