I was in DT concert in Saarburg, Germany November last year. I think the guitarbit was sampled, 'cause it really sounded exactly like on CD. When I heard it I was very confused, 'cause I did now the Riff but couldn't remember where from. I defenitly knew it wasn't DT. Anyway great gimmick!!! bye Tim Schwartz 'Love is the Dance of Eternity' ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Feb 1994 16:09:28 -0500 (EST) From: Michael Burstin Subject: Mike Bahr, PLEASE READ Sorry to post this here, but I have been trying to reach MIKE BAHR (email_address_removed) and I have had all mail returned to me. Things have been really crazy at work. Anyway, I'm going to be in San Jose all week for OS/2 training, so I probably wont be able to work on the shirt design this week either. :P So, please be patient, we WILL get them made soon. Any of you in the San Jose area? Drop me some mail at: email_address_removed It would be cool to meet up for Pizza or something. Catch ya later... Well, kinda am. I used to be email_address_removed, but this cheap school finally gave me a unix account, so I'm me now ;) Basically just wanna know what's up with the new album being done. Anyone have any word on it? Oh, one more thing, does anyone knowq of a good radio station in Minneapolis? One that plays cool music, such as DT? (or along that lines?) Mail me or post it or whatever :) Thanks! Chris ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Feb 1994 23:20:46 -0600 (CST) From: "Gary G. Moegling" Subject: Time Sigs for I&W Alright, you asked for them and here they are, the Time Sigs for every song off I&W, as accurately as I can do them. If anyone finds something that I don't have, feel free to tell me, and If anyone thinks different on some of the sigs, I would love to discuss them. So here goes!!! Time in the CD: Pull Me Under 00:00 4/4 to the first synth solo. 02:37 8/8 03:33 4/4 / 7/8 Guitar solo is in 7/8, original feel is 4/4 04:49 8/8 Double time again! 04:P58 7/8 same as before. 05:09 4/4 07:44 2/4 to the end. Another Day 4/4 (a way slow 4/4) throughout the entire song. Take The Time 00:00 4/4 (speeds increase, but it's still the same time Sig). Tons of little interludes, but main Sig is 4/4. 03:46 Beats the heck out of me, it's kind of like an untrue 5/8 Sig. 04:03 5/8 04:18 4/4 to the end. Surrounded 00:00 4/ 4 01:17 increasing 4/4 01:22 9/8 02:15 4/4 Almost double time (heck, call it double time if you want). 02:44 9/4 03:10 4/4 " " " 04:32 Back to original 4/4 feel. Metropolis Part I 00:00 4/4 with a few little 2/4 and 4/4 segments throughout 04:18 13/8 ? Anyone want to help with this one? 05:18 4/4 06:19 3/4, 4/4, and all sorts of junk in between. 08:04 6/8 08:28 4/4 Under A Glass Moon 00:00 4/4 after intro from guitar. 01:05 ? 01:19 Kind of bleeds into 6/4. 02:08 4/4 Jumps around at the begining and end of solo, but main Sig Is 4/4. Waits For Sleep 00:00 ? 00:30 4/4 00:45 ? 00:53 4/4 in triplets to give it a 6/8 kind of feel. 02:02 ? This song has been a total pain in the Butt, I can play it on the piano, but I can't figure out the Sig. Any help would be great!!! Learning To Live 00:00 All sorts of fun stuff, but jumps around too much to worry about. 01:12 Alternating measures of 7/4 and 6/4. 02:41 4/4 03:10 Back to original 7/4, 6/4 Sig. 04:01 7/4 04:12 4/4 04:39 7/4 04:57 4/4 05:10 6/4 05:30 4/4 08:10 "Waits For Sleep" mystery time Sig. 08:40 4/4 08:53 "WFS" mystery Sig again. 09:07 4/4 with other fun stuff to the end. IT'S OVER!!! Anyone who comes up with the mystery Sig, or the other's that I can't get, please tell me!! Hope you enjoy this stuff as much as I do!!! Until next time, Party On!!! ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Feb 1994 23:56:14 -40962758 (MST) From: Michael Bahr Subject: Re: Mike Bahr, PLEASE READ Mike: My server crashed!
